The food is brilliant and delicious, with lots of meal options. The service is great and the view of the rear garden and pond with koi carp is lovely. The location is excellent and ideal for quick access to the coast and places like Monkey World.

The guest house has a central location next to great pubs and restaurants in Dorset. It is conveniently located near the local Dorset coast and Wareham Town Museum. The breakfast offered great vegetarian options and was very enjoyable.

We had a brilliant 3-night stay at Spurwing Guest House. The location in a quiet area with a beautiful garden was perfect. The proximity to the coast, Monkey World, and great pubs/restaurants, as well as Studland and Swanage, was fantastic.

The units were very clean and well-equipped with a beautiful view of the garden, and the central location was a bonus.

Great location, just off the main road yet very peaceful. Easily accessible by car and train, perfect for visiting nearby attractions. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, providing a guide with useful information before our stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a selection of fresh fruit, cereal, and a cooked meal made with local produce.

The sound isolation in the room was not great, we could hear noise from outside and other guests. The bathroom was across the corridor which could be inconvenient.

The location was strategic, less than a five-minute walk from the station and the bus stop.

The sound isolation was poor, and we could hear other guests' movements and conversations from other rooms. This might be quite disturbing, especially when other guests woke up earlier than we did.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming guest house nestled in a quiet residential area. It's conveniently located near Wareham station, making it easy to explore the Isle of Purbeck. The front bedroom, known as the 'spoonbill', had impeccable furnishings and a divine king-size bed. The hosts, Steph and Richard, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. They offered a wide array of breakfast options and even set up a lovely dining table for our Chinese take-away. My son absolutely adored the tranquil backyard and watching the graceful Koi swimming in the pond. I can see why this place is always booked up – highly recommended for a mini-break.
